Mannheim’s centre is laid out as a grid of lettered blocks instead of street names, so we ask for the exact block and house number; the driver then knows exactly where to stop.

Airport taxi from Mannheim: North on the A67 – the drive to Frankfurt Airport

From most districts Google routes north and takes the A67 towards Darmstadt and the airport. From the water tower that is about 56 minutes without traffic; from Vogelstang it is quicker, from Neckarau and the Lindenhof a little longer. Rush hour, roadworks and the junctions near the airport can add time – the figures are a guide.

ICE from Mannheim main station

Mannheim is an ICE junction, and some long-distance trains stop at the airport’s long-distance station. If you travel light and live near the main station, that can work well. With children, several suitcases or a connection at night, a car from your door saves walking, waiting and changing.

How do I enter an address in the Quadrate?
